Northeast China's Jilin province showcased its cultural heritage and tourism offerings in Moscow, Russia, during the 2026 Jilin Culture and Tourism Week from Oct 8 to 11, seeking to deepen cultural ties and expand cooperation in tourism, ice and snow industries, and youth exchanges.

On Oct 9, a special promotional event for the Changchun 2027 Winter Universiade presented the games' emblem, mascot, theme song, torch, medals, and licensed cultural and creative products, inviting Russian audiences to experience the winter charm of Changchun.

During a visit to the Russia-China Chamber of Commerce, the delegation discussed Winter Universiade opportunities, including ice and snow cultural industries and cross-border cooperation on event merchandise, aiming to connect Jilin's winter resources with Russia's consumer market.

At the Russia-China Friendship Association, the delegation met with the association's first vice-president to establish a long-term exchange mechanism and promote youth engagement in winter sports, culture, and the arts.
