The 18th Zhan Tianyou Railway Science and Technology Award Ceremony and the 4th Zhan Tianyou Science and Technology Development Forum took place on Sept 28 in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province.

The event honored scientific and technological workers who have made outstanding contributions to China's railway technological innovation, rallied innovative forces in the rail transit sector, and driven high-level scientific and technological self-reliance.

Established in 1993, the Zhan Tianyou Railway Science and Technology Award is the most prestigious science and technology award in China's railway industry.

This year's awards recognized three grand prize winners, 40 achievement award winners, 90 youth award winners, and recipients across professional technical and special categories, showcasing the achievements of railway scientific and technological talent.

Attendees included heads of enterprises, universities, and research institutes in the rail transit sector, award-winning representatives, and faculty and student representatives from university "Zhan Tianyou Classes" and "Zhan Tianyou Colleges."

After the award ceremony, the 4th Zhan Tianyou Science and Technology Development Forum brought together industry experts and scholars to discuss and exchange ideas on cutting-edge rail transit technologies, industrial upgrading, and talent cultivation.
