As the Changchun 2027 Winter Universiade approaches, young people from around the world are turning their attention to Changchun, known as the "Spring City of the North".

On Sept 15, the third session of the "Hi, Changchun" city-life promotion series, themed "Youth-Friendly Changchun", was held. Young representatives from science and technology, automobiles, cultural and creative industries, agriculture, and cultural tourism shared their experiences of working and living in the city and invited young people from home and abroad to pursue their dreams in Changchun.

The city is expanding support for young talent. Those who have graduated less than five years ago and do not own homes in Changchun can stay in talent apartments at 70 percent of market rates for up to three years. Changchun has built 18,352 talent apartments to date, with 11,377 in operation.

Changchun is also supporting young entrepreneurs. This year, the city plans to provide 300 startup spaces and 500 shared workstations across 25 incubators. Eligible startups can receive one year of rent-free accommodation, while qualified individual entrepreneurs can access guaranteed loans of up to 300,000 yuan ($42,000).

With the Winter Universiade approaching, Changchun is using the event as a window to connect with the world and create new opportunities for young people.
