FISU President Leonz Eder; Wang Jiayi, vice-minister of education and vice chair of the Changchun 2027 Winter Universiade Organizing Committee; and Changchun Mayor Gu Gang attended the meeting.

As a key international coordination meeting ahead of the games, the event covered preparations and gathered feedback from participating delegations, with discussions on venues, accommodation, transportation, registration, catering, medical services, anti-doping measures, and other event services.

The Changchun 2027 Winter Universiade will be China's second time hosting the event after the 2009 Winter Universiade in Harbin. It will be the largest international multi-sport winter event ever held in Jilin province and Changchun, showcasing China's winter sports development, promoting international youth exchanges, and boosting the winter sports economy.
