Changchun is inviting visitors to discover the city beyond its winter sports venues, with food, nightlife and everyday moments taking center stage ahead of the Changchun 2027 Winter Universiade.
The second event in the "Hi, Changchun" city life promotion series, themed around the city's vibrant everyday atmosphere, was held recently.
Guests including international students from the United States, Hungary, and Myanmar joined the event.
The event highlighted the city's attractions across dining, accommodation, transportation, sightseeing, shopping, and entertainment, as well as its growing lineup of popular new destinations.

Jin Yong, deputy director of Changchun municipal bureau of culture, radio, television and tourism, offered a vivid glimpse of Changchun's everyday buzz: mornings begin with lively market calls and fresh local snacks, while noon brings the sweet-and-sour crispy pork, snow-coated red bean paste and sizzling iron-pot stews. After dark, Guilin Road comes alive with lights, food, and laughter.
But Changchun's charm goes beyond what visitors can see. The event also offered a glimpse into the city's warm, welcoming character, where companionship, friendship, and sincerity are part of everyday life.
