Changchun 2027 Winter Universiade hosted a 150-day countdown event on Aug 18, with China Southern Airlines signed on as its official aviation partner.

The partnership marks the launch of the event's aviation service and support system, with China Southern Airlines set to use its extensive route network and air transport capabilities to help connect Changchun with athletes, officials, and visitors from around the world.

During the launch ceremony, both the airline and the Winter Universiade revealed their exclusive joint logo, and the design of a specially themed aircraft was also unveiled worldwide.

The aircraft design combines elements of Changchun's winter landscape and iconic snow and ice landmarks with the Winter Universiade's official visual identity and China Southern Airlines' branding, creating a distinctive flying ambassador for the event.
