The 23rd Changchun International Auto Expo has concluded, attracting more than 150,000 visitors and showcasing the latest developments in the global automotive industry.

The expo featured 967 vehicles from 95 domestic and international brands across an exhibition area of 154,000 square meters. Among them, 580 were new energy vehicles, accounting for 60 percent of all exhibits, highlighting the industry's accelerating transition toward greener mobility.

The event showcased the latest advances in electrification, intelligent driving, and future mobility. Vehicles powered by battery electric, hybrid, and range-extended technologies demonstrated China's growing strengths in key areas such as batteries and electronic control systems. Innovative exhibits, including intelligent cockpits powered by large AI models, autonomous driving technologies, low-altitude economy equipment, and concept mobility products, offered visitors a glimpse into the future of transportation.

The expo also strengthened international cooperation. Representatives from 17 countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, including South Africa, Zimbabwe, Tajikistan, and Oman, joined more than 100 Chinese import and export enterprises to explore new opportunities for automotive trade and help expand the global presence of vehicles and components made in Changchun.

To boost consumer spending, Changchun launched a 20-million-yuan ($2.8 million) vehicle purchase promotion during the expo. The city also enhanced public transportation services by adding dedicated shuttle buses, providing visitors with convenient access throughout the event.
