Changchun auto expo drives industry forward

The 23rd Changchun International Auto Expo and the eighth China FAW Hongqi Carnival opened on July 12 at the Changchun Northeast Asia International Expo Center, bringing together leading automakers and showcasing the latest achievements in China's automotive industry.
This year's expo features 53 automobile manufacturers and more than 1,000 vehicles, with over 20 new models making their Northeast China debut and three new automotive brands launching in Changchun. Covering 170,000 square meters, the event has grown significantly since its inaugural edition and has become a key platform for opening up Northeast China's automotive industry to the world.

Coinciding with the 70th anniversary of the rollout of China's first automobile, China FAW occupies nearly 8,000 square meters of exhibition space. Its passenger vehicle brands are gathered in Hall A3, displaying 86 vehicles across 62 models, including the Hongqi G919 and the all-new Hongqi H9. Twelve new models are making their Northeast China debut, highlighting the company's latest advances in electrification and intelligent mobility.
Alongside the expo, the eighth China FAW Hongqi Carnival features 24 themed events, including exhibitions of China FAW's innovation achievements, and a forum on the high-quality development of China's automotive industry.

Recognized by UFI – the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, the expo has evolved into a flagship international exhibition. Representatives from 15 countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative and more than 60 overseas business associations are expected to attend this year's event.
