Hyatt Regency Changchun has been awarded the prestigious Five-Leaf China Green Hotel rating, the highest level of recognition under China's green hotel certification system.

Jointly evaluated by six government departments, including the Ministry of Commerce, the China Green Hotel program assesses six key areas: green design, safety management, energy conservation, environmentally friendly operations, health management, and internal governance.

This achievement further strengthens the hotel's role in supporting guest services for the Changchun 2027 Winter Universiade. Utilizing its green facilities and standardized service system, the hotel is preparing to provide high-quality accommodation and hospitality services for athletes, officials and visitors attending the international event.

The hotel is located within Changchun Honghui International Plaza, which received both LEED Platinum and WELL Building certifications in 2024.

Building on these achievements, Hyatt Regency Changchun has established a comprehensive sustainability framework that integrates green building infrastructure with environmentally responsible operations.

The hotel plans to incorporate low-carbon practices throughout its Winter Universiade service program, including intelligent energy management systems, on-demand linen replacement, reduced use of disposable amenities, and healthy dining options designed to minimize food waste while meeting the needs of event participants and guests.
