The 2026 Jilin Cultural Tourism Week opened on June 9 in Seoul, South Korea, bringing a spectacular evening of Chinese folk art to South Korean audiences. The Jilin Province Symphony Orchestra's folk orchestra ignited the stage with classic melodies, while the Ji Opera Troupe of the Jilin Provincial Opera Theater amazed with exquisite costumes, graceful movements, and authentic vocals.
The audience was deeply moved: elderly viewers closed their eyes, lost in the music; young people clapped and swayed to the rhythm; and children watched with wide-eyed wonder. After each piece, thunderous applause filled the hall.

Before the event's opening ceremony, Jilin held a cultural tourism promotion meeting to showcase its vibrant travel resources, with several Jilin companies signing cooperation agreements with top South Korean travel agencies. The event also promoted Changchun's bid for the 2027 Winter Universiade, extending a sincere ice-and-snow invitation to South Korean friends.
