The Third Changchun International Optoelectronic Expo, the Light International Conference, and the Chinese Optical Society Changchun Academic Conference will be held from June 12 to 14 at the Northeast Asia International Expo Center in Changchun.
Building on Changchun's strong foundation in optoelectronics, the event will feature exhibitions across more than 10 key sectors, including semiconductors, ultra-precision optics, and commercial aerospace. Seven themed exhibition areas will spotlight atom-level manufacturing, commercial aerospace, defense optoelectronic systems and equipment, automotive electronics, the low-altitude economy, embodied intelligence, and smart agriculture. A dedicated recruitment zone will also connect employers with talent from home and abroad.
A major highlight of this year's event is the debut of the 2026 Atom-Level Manufacturing Innovation Development Conference.
The Light International Conference will host 14 parallel sessions focused on topics such as green agriculture and intelligent advanced manufacturing, bringing together more than 800 experts and scholars from around the world. Meanwhile, the Chinese Optical Society Changchun Academic Conference will organize 13 specialized forums on optical design, advanced materials, and other key fields.
A total of 890 companies have confirmed participation, including eight Fortune Global 500 companies, six China Top 500 enterprises, 43 listed firms, and 33 national manufacturing champions.
The expo has also attracted 42 foreign-funded and joint-venture companies, including ZEISS and Hexagon, with more than 2,000 experts and scholars from 23 countries across six continents expected to attend.
Organizers have said the event will serve as a platform to promote technology commercialization, industry collaboration, and international cooperation while enhancing Changchun's global influence in the optoelectronics sector.
