Jilin strengthens university collaboration for startup development

The 2026 Jilin Province "Joint Entrepreneurship, Integrated Development" series of activities was held on June 1 at Jilin Animation Institute, bringing together universities, entrepreneurs, and innovators from across the province.
Guided by the Education Department of Jilin Province and organized by the Jilin Provincial College Graduates Employment Guidance Center and other institutions, the event featured platform presentations, keynote speeches, project roadshows, and an entrepreneurship market. A total of 35 universities participated, along with eight roadshow projects and 121 exhibition projects.
The event aimed to improve Jilin's innovation and entrepreneurship education system by integrating resources, cultivating high-quality entrepreneurial teams, accelerating the commercialization of research achievements, and encouraging more young people to work and start businesses in the province.
During the event, experts delivered keynote presentations on creativity-driven entrepreneurship education, innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, and the impact of AI on future business development.

Meanwhile, the entrepreneurship market featured 121 projects from 11 universities, covering cultural and creative design, intangible cultural heritage, digital technology, traditional Chinese medicine, specialty agricultural products, and original intellectual property development, highlighting the latest achievements in innovation, creativity, and technology commercialization across Jilin's universities.
