In recent years, Jilin has advanced the ginseng industry through germplasm resource protection, deep processing, standards development, market regulation, technological innovation, brand building, and cultural promotion, accelerating its standardized, branded, and internationalized development. In 2025, the province's ginseng industry output value exceeded 100 billion yuan ($14 billion).

A promotional film featuring Changbai Mountain ginseng as a national geographical indication product and a China-EU mutually recognized product was screened during the event, emphasizing its authentic origin, premium quality, and internationally recognized certification.

During the plaque-awarding ceremony, the Jilin Provincial Ginseng Chamber of Commerce received the title of Jilin Changbai Mountain Ginseng Southeast Asia Operation, Exhibition and Trading Center, while the China-Malaysia Zhongjing TCM Center was awarded the title of TCM (Changbai Mountain Ginseng) Cultural Education Base.

The event featured 15 themed booths showcasing ginseng products, traditional Chinese medicine consultations, medicinal cuisine, cultural and creative products, and traditional handicraft experiences.
