Northeast China's top universities connect talent with opportunity

The Education Department of Jilin Province, Northeast Five Universities Alliance, and several other institutions hosted the 2026 Northeast China Universities Spring Job Fair at Jilin University on March 27. The event brought together talent and employers, creating the province's largest and highest-level recruitment platform this year.
The fair attracted over 20,000 graduates from 68 universities across the province, with more than 830 employers offering upwards of 50,000 job opportunities.
Employers from 30 provincial-level regions attended, including 259 from the Yangtze River Delta and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, reflecting strong nationwide demand for talent. Major participating organizations included leading enterprises such as Aviation Industry Corporation of China, China State Shipbuilding Co, and China FAW Group.

The Northeast Five Universities Alliance – comprising Jilin University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin Engineering University, Dalian University of Technology, and Northeastern University – continues to deepen collaboration in employment services, information sharing, and career guidance.
Jilin University alone expects 20,502 graduates in 2026. To support them, the university has already organized 837 on-campus recruitment events, 121 virtual sessions, and released more than 3,100 job bulletins, connecting students with over 1.15 million job opportunities through national platforms.
