A vehicle handover ceremony honoring China's winter sports champions was held at the headquarters of China FAW Group. At the event, the Hongqi brand officially delivered a Hongqi HS6 PHEV and a Hongqi Tiangong 06 to Olympic champions Xu Mengtao and Wang Xindi, in recognition of their achievements on the international stage.

A highlight of the event was the unveiling of personalized vehicles prepared for the couple, with each athlete selecting a model for the other as a symbolic gesture. Xu chose the Tiangong 06 for Wang, highlighting its youthful design and intelligent driving assistance system, while Wang selected the HS6 PHEV for Xu and arranged several customized details to reflect her personal preferences.

The vehicles feature tailored interior elements and thoughtful design touches aimed at enhancing comfort and usability, including custom decorative motifs, ergonomic seat materials, and generous storage capacity.

The HS6 PHEV is built on Hongqi's latest hybrid platform, offering an all-electric range of up to 248 kilometers and a spacious five-seat layout. The model has also set Guinness World Records in its class for long-distance driving under full-fuel and charged conditions and for endurance performance in low-temperature environments, following rigorous testing in extreme climates, including high altitudes and severe cold.

Hongqi has presented vehicles to Chinese athletes returning from major international competitions four times since 2021.
