The 16th Jilin (Changchun) Winter Agricultural Expo, which opened on Feb 6 and runs for 17 days, is presenting a broad showcase of agricultural products, food culture, and regional cooperation.
Guided by the Jilin Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Changchun bureau of agriculture and rural affairs, the event spans nearly 200,000 square meters and features two main sections: cultural activities and product exhibitions and sales, with 20 themed programs in total.

At the opening ceremony, the Jilin Association of Leading Agricultural Enterprises unveiled its annual development plan, while cultural ambassadors offered in-depth insights into Jilin cuisine and its roots. A delegation of Guangdong companies also took the stage to promote premium agricultural products and Guangdong cuisine, adding a southern flavor to the event.
The exhibition area has attracted strong crowds, with signature products from Jilin and Guangdong displayed side by side. Forty-one representative Jilin enterprises have brought more than 300 items, including Chagan Lake bighead carp, Changbai Mountain specialties, and black-soil grains, all featured as festive "Jilin New Year dishes".
