This winter, Songyuan in Northeast China's Jilin province is opening 12 public welfare ice rinks across the city, providing residents and visitors with free access to classic ice activities.

The Jiangzhiyun Ice and Snow Theme Park offers a wide range of facilities and is especially popular with families. Yulegu Ice and Snow Public Park blends ice activities with traditional fishing and hunting culture, creating a distinctive winter experience. Swan Lake Ice Rink, set on a natural frozen surface, stands out for its scenic views.

Other free venues include Hada Mountain Haxiaoxue Ice Park, Genghis Khan Park Public Ice Rink and Cultural Park Ice Rink, Qianguo Sports Stadium Ice Rink, Chagan Lake Ice and Snow Park, Chaxiaoyu Ice Park, Huimo Flower Sea Ice Rink, the Jigong Ice and Snow Training Experience Base, and Changling Sports Stadium Ice Rink.
