An aerospace exhibition opened in Changchun on Jan 17, offering the public an immersive journey into China's aviation and space achievements. Running through April 6, the show spans 16,000 square meters and features nearly 1,000 exhibits along with more than 30 interactive experiences, allowing visitors to engage closely with the country's progress in the aerospace industry.

The exhibition is divided into three zones: an immersive aerospace culture experience area, a model aircraft and activity zone, and an entertainment and commercial area. The most popular section, the aerospace culture zone, hosts three major themed exhibitions. Among the highlights is the authentic return capsule of the recoverable satellite SJ-10, which has kept visitors constantly enraptured.

In the rocket exhibition area, models from the Long March carrier rocket family are displayed alongside a striking large-scale rocket engine nozzle art installation. The interactive "Rocket Forest" has also become a crowd favorite, where participants trigger a simulated launch sequence, complete with roaring sound effects and dramatic visuals of rockets lifting off.

The exhibition also traces the evolution of China's aviation industry, from its early exploration to its rise on the global stage. A photography exhibition presents more than 300 works documenting the development of the Changchun Airshow and the dedication of generations of aviation professionals.

According to Li Mingyang, head of the Changchun Aviation Culture Exhibition Center, the event combines exhibitions, interactions, and activities to create a science education space that integrates history, technology, engagement, and learning, deepening public understanding of aerospace science through hands-on experiences.
