US educators visit Jilin Intl Studies University

A delegation of 13 educators from the United States visited Jilin International Studies University on Dec 19 for a week-long exchange program aimed at deepening cultural understanding and strengthening China-US educational cooperation.
The group included teachers and education professionals from Manhattanville University, Saint Peter's University, and Vanderbilt University, along with secondary schools and educational institutions.
During their visit, the educators toured the university's international exchange center, the World Multicultural Education Center named by UNESCO, and the library. They spoke highly of the university's international learning environment, particularly praising the Chinese culture workshops designed for international students.
The delegation also visited the university's practice teaching base at iFLYTEK to learn how AI is integrated into talent cultivation. Beyond campus, the group explored FAW Hongqi Culture Exhibition Hall and a commercial complex, gaining firsthand insight into Changchun's industrial heritage and urban culture.
The five-day program included cultural activities in both Changchun and Beijing. In Changchun, the educators visited the Changchun Historical and Cultural Museum on Xinmin Avenue and the Palace Museum of the Manchurian Regime and experienced Chinese tea culture and hanfu.
During the visit, the university will also host the China-US Chinese Language Education Seminar.
