Animation conference showcases Jilin's creativity

The third China (Jilin) Animation Conference opened in Changchun on Sept 27, attended by artists, professionals, and scholars from across the country.
This year's conference received over 410 submissions of television animations, original comics, and research papers on animation. The program features a wide range of activities, including an opening ceremony, the 2025 High-Quality Animation Development Forum, exhibitions of outstanding works, artist campus visits, the Vibrant Animation Night, and an investment promotion session.
Highlights also include the premieres of Zap's Last Stand and We Are Together, a film retrospective, a fine art comic manuscript exhibition, a student entrepreneurship fair and animation carnival, and the 25th anniversary showcase of Jilin Animation Institute.
With growing policy support, technological innovation, and talent development, Jilin's animation industry is steadily advancing toward transformation and upgrading. A development model driven by enterprises, empowered by universities, and supported by policies is taking shape, giving rise to competitive animation bases, leading companies, and dynamic teams that are set to inject new vitality into regional economic growth.
