Jilin International Studies University (JISU) celebrated its 30th anniversary with a grand ceremony on Sept 20, attended by representatives from more than 170 universities across 15 countries and over a thousand alumni worldwide.

Since its founding in 1995, JISU has achieved several milestones: the first private university in China established through donations, the only private university entrusted with piloting national education reform, and the first to be granted the right to confer master's degrees. The university has also ranked first for six consecutive years on ShanghaiRanking's list of China's private universities.
