Jilin showcases livestock industry at CNEA Expo

The Jilin Animal Husbandry Bureau hosted a livestock industry promotion event on Aug 29 during the 15th China–Northeast Asia Expo in Changchun. The event highlighted the achievements and investment potential of Jilin's livestock sector, aiming to strengthen government–enterprise cooperation and foster win-win partnerships.
Bureau Director Bao Qingchun underscored Jilin's role as an ecological and livestock powerhouse, inviting enterprises to invest in the province. Deputy Director Zou Jiye presented Changchun's livestock layout, policies, and opportunities, while Lu Songyan, representative of Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture, shared the success story of the yellow cattle industry.
Deputy Director Chi Junjie also unveiled key investment projects across the province.
Experts delivered keynote speeches on deer antler biology and beef industry development, emphasizing Jilin's scientific and market advantages. Professor Zhang Jiabao from Jilin University explained the cultural and market value of Jilin's beef brand.

Seven leading companies, including Changchun Haoyue Halal Meat Industry Co, were honored for excellence in quality, branding, and industry leadership. The ceremony witnessed the signing of six agreements focusing on cattle farming, deer products, and supply chain collaboration.
