Zhang Bo, director of quality assurance at FAW-Volkswagen, delivered a keynote speech titled "Digital Transformation Drives Automotive Quality Reform", introducing FAW-Volkswagen's digital, customer-oriented, preventive quality management system that covers the entire value chain from R&D to manufacturing to market.
He highlighted the company's pioneering efforts in building a customer complaint aggregation platform, restructuring quality inspection standards to match Chinese user habits, and updating localized part approval standards. These innovations, based on real-world scenarios and intelligent systems like QIS, have shortened issue resolution times by 15 percent over two years.
FAW-Volkswagen's forward-looking approach has earned it major accolades, including the 2023 CAQ Quality Technical Award and the 2024 China Automotive Quality Management Award.
