Jilin Grain Brand Day highlights a decade of 'Jilin Brand' development

On July 16, Yanji, capital of Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture in Jilin province, hosted the 2025 Jilin Grain Brand Day, celebrating 10 years of developments in establishing Jilin's agricultural brands.

The event emphasized the core strengths of Jilin's agriculture, particularly through its dual flagship brands, Jilin rice and Jilin fresh corn, showcasing the advantages of farming on Jilin's black soil.

Jilin rice companies currently manage more than 3.3 million mu (220,000 hectares) of planting bases, with over 80 percent dedicated to high-quality varieties. The brand's value exceeds 46.2 billion yuan ($6.43 billion), making it the top-ranked on the "China's most influential grain and oil public brands" list for six years in a row.

The province hosts 189 fresh corn enterprises covering 1.23 million mu of planting area. In 2024, they processed and exported 2.25 billion ears to 24 countries and regions, including the United States, Germany, and Singapore.

At the event, new brand slogans were introduced, coinciding with the launch of a month-long e-commerce promotion, along with on-site visits, production-marketing matchmaking, and roundtable discussions.

The event gathered government officials, experts, and businesses to promote the grain industry through branding efforts. Jilin is utilizing its brand strategy to enhance and upgrade the grain industry chain, aiming to achieve "good grain at good prices".
