On July 6, Northeast China's Jilin province launched its 2025 summer camping season at Lake Songhua Resort, featuring great performances and a dynamic exhibition of cultural and tourism offerings that highlighted the summer appeal of the metropolis.

The event includes four themed zones, including one for photo spots. It also offered a wide range of activities – from mountain bike races and cultural heritage shows to open-air concerts – blending entertainment, sports, cuisine and culture in a total mountain getaway experience.

As a key destination for Jilin's tourism, Lake Songhua Resort has expanded its summer offerings while maintaining its status as a premier winter sports hub.

This year, the resort has rolled out new themed events along with over 20 outdoors activities – including cable car rides, night hikes and camping parties – creating a year-round vacation destination.

During the summer, a series of exciting events will take place, including the Salomon Summer Games and the Northeast 100 Trail Race. Visitors can also enjoy handy perks like free or half-price cable car rides, making for a relaxing and enjoyable summer escape.
