China FAW Group – based in Northeast China's Jilin province – made a strong statement at the 2025 International Automotive and Supply Chain Expo, which opened on June 12 in Hong Kong, showcasing its premium Hongqi models and highlighting its leadership in luxury automotive innovation.

The expo features seven core exhibition zones that cover fields such as global automobiles, the auto supply chain, and the low-altitude economy, and aims to foster deeper global integration of the automotive industry through a specialized, international, and market-oriented platform.

Qiu Xiandong, chairman of China FAW, attended the expo's opening ceremony and introduced the company's "1+1+3" action plan to co-build one industrial platform, launch one demonstration project, and establish three key operation centers in Hong Kong.

This initiative reflects China FAW's firm commitment to the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

China FAW aims to accelerate Hong Kong's new industrialization through its strengths in high-end, intelligent, and environmentally friendly manufacturing, enhancing the city's green mobility experience. The company's Hongqi brand, in partnership with CATL and other companies, is also launching a battery-swap taxi pilot project to promote low-carbon urban transportation.

With collaborative industrial building and innovation-driven investment, China FAW and Hong Kong are working together toward a shared and sustainable future.
