Jilin Day highlights regional treasures at Expo 2025 Osaka

Jilin Day at the China Pavilion of Expo 2025 Osaka brought together around 100 guests from both China and Japan on June 9 to celebrate the province's cultural charm, economic vitality, and green innovation.
Organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Jilin Provincial Committee, the event featured vibrant exhibitions, performances, and promotional activities.
The exhibition showcased the province's ecological beauty, cultural richness, and economic strengths through four curated sections: Golden, Silver, Blue, and Green Jilin.
Guests explored displays of local specialties, including ginseng, deer products, mushrooms, pine nuts, and mineral water, alongside modern innovations such as hydrogen-powered train models and Hongqi car models.

A video introduction and cultural performances, including live demonstrations of ironwork, Manchu paper-cutting, and fish-skin painting, gave international audiences a taste of Jilin's intangible cultural heritage. Remarks from Xue Jian, China's consul general in Osaka, and Wu Shengrong, the China Pavilion's director, further emphasized Jilin's commitment to global exchanges and cooperation.
Jilin Day highlighted the province's growing presence on the world stage, fostering partnerships in culture, tourism, green energy, and trade at the expo, which continues until October.
