FAW marked the global debut of its first BMP super hybrid SUV with the launch of the Bestune Yueyi 07 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) on May 26 in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province.

Changchun and Changchun New Area leaders, along with FAW senior executives, attended the launch event, where the first batch of Yueyi 07 owners received their vehicles.

The Yueyi 07 features a sleek 4.8-meter body, a powerful forward-leaning stance, a panoramic sunroof, through-type headlights, and a glowing logo. Interior highlights include soft ambient colors and the industry's first zero-benzene, odor-free seats.

Performance matches the looks. Powered by a 168-kilowatt motor, it accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 6.9 seconds, with a top speed of 180 km/h. It supports L2 driver assistance and is equipped with an AI-powered cockpit for a smarter, voice-activated driving experience.
