On April 19, the 2025 Changchun Jingyuetan Four Season Fun Run – Spring Transcendence Challenge kicked off with a record-breaking 4,980 runners from Jilin, Heilongjiang, Guangdong, Shaanxi, Hong Kong and Macao.

The race featured a half marathon (21.1 kilometers) and a 3.5-km mini run, which saw participation from runners as young as three years old.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Jingyuetan National Forest Park, runners dashed through lush greenery, tranquil lakes, and vibrant spring scenery. The event combined athletic spirit with immersive nature, offering runners a refreshing experience in a natural oxygen bar.

Now officially recognized as a C-class event by the Chinese Athletics Association, this year's race also featured enhanced safety measures such as emergency hotlines, four land rescue routes, and one water route. Participants enjoyed well-prepared race kits, post-race recovery zones with stretching, relaxation, physiotherapy services, and medal engraving.

Launched in 2024, the Jingyuetan Four Season Fun Run continues to grow in scale and influence, becoming a celebrated model for blending tourism and sports in China.
