On April 20, Jilin University's 10th Apricot Flower Cultural Festival and the 70th Anniversary of the Engineering Disciplines Grand Carnival drew students, alumni, and visitors to the Nanling campus in Northeast China's Jilin province.

The event's highlight was the 770-meter-long Apricot Blossom Avenue, where 254 apricot trees offer a breathtaking floral display. The festival featured eight themed zones, including an exhibition on the 70-year history of the university's engineering disciplines, student performances, innovation showcases, alumni enterprise exhibits, interactive cultural experiences, student club activities, and undergraduate admissions promotion.

The cultural performances involved choirs, dances, recitations, cheerleading, and music, with students from 13 Changchun universities participating. Fifty mechanical manufacturing, new energy, and new materials alumni enterprises showcased their latest innovations.

The interactive experience zone included 31 engaging student activities, such as apricot blossom-themed makeup and AI imaging. A special admissions area offered detailed consultations for prospective students and parents.

The festival attracted over 120,000 visitors, with more than 600,000 tuning in via online livestreams, making it a memorable celebration of tradition, innovation, and community at Jilin University.
