NPC deputies focus on Jilin's industries during national two sessions

As the 2025 National Two Sessions commence, deputies to the National People's Congress (NPC) from Northeast China's Jilin province are bringing forward key proposals to drive innovation, strengthen industries, and improve public health.

Bai Jingyang, a strong advocate for industrial transformation, has received positive responses to his previous suggestions on lithium battery development and plastic recycling. This year, he emphasizes integrating scientific and industrial innovation, calling for greater government investment in R&D and stronger industry-academia collaborations to accelerate technological advancements.

He also highlights the importance of deepening energy cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative to ensure sustainable development.

Zhao Jing, representing the pharmaceutical sector, focuses on modernizing traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). She proposes leveraging AI and big data to enhance TCM's scientific rigor and make it more internationally recognized. She believes promoting China's expertise will contribute to global healthcare development.

While serving his third term as an NPC deputy, Huang Hai continues to prioritize healthcare. His suggestions this year address key challenges in grassroots medical services, aiming to improve accessibility and quality in community hospitals and rural clinics. He remains dedicated to advocating for policies that directly impact people's well-being.
