A trade and economic promotion event for Northeast China was held on Oct 14 in Changchun, capital city of Northeast China's Jilin province. Themed "Striving for New Breakthroughs in the Full Revitalization of Northeast China", the event attracted over 200 participants, including leaders from 50 countries, foreign diplomats, and business representatives from across China.

Local leaders attended the event in person and virtually, while grassroots representatives were invited to share their stories. These included an engineer from China FAW Group, an ice sculptor from Jilin's snow and ice attractions, and a technician specializing in black soil conservation. Their accounts highlighted Jilin's ongoing contributions to Northeast China's revitalization efforts.

Foreign guests had the opportunity to tour Changchun and other areas of Jilin province. Some were also taken to neighboring regions like Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, and Heilongjiang to explore each province's innovations in manufacturing, modern agriculture, and trade cooperation.

The event offered an in-depth view of Jilin's role in fostering regional development, showcasing its industry successes and efforts toward greater international collaboration.
