Mark, a British visitor, recently explored the historic Changchun Film Studio in Changchun, capital city of Northeast China's Jilin province, known as the cradle of New China's film industry.

As the first film studio established in New China, Changchun Film Studio has played a pivotal role in the country's cinematic history.

The Changchun Film Studio Museum, housed in the original 1937 Manchukuo Film Association Co building, showcases the studio's rich history. The museum building has been meticulously restored to preserve its original architecture, offering visitors an immersive journey through the evolution of Chinese cinema.

Changchun Film Studio is celebrated for pioneering numerous "firsts" in Chinese film history, particularly in the 1950s, '60s, and '70s. Iconic films such as The White-Haired Girl, Steel Soldier, Dong Cunrui, and Mysterious Travelling Companion were produced here, each marking a significant milestone in the development of Chinese cinema.

After his visit, Mark expressed a newfound appreciation for the history of Chinese cinema, stating, "This experience has enriched my understanding of Changchun's vibrant historical and cultural heritage." His visit highlights the enduring legacy of Changchun Film Studio and its contributions to the world of film.
