Remote sensing, communications conference opens in Jilin

The third Remote Sensing and Communication Innovation Conference, hosted by Changguang Satellite, opened on June 19 in Changchun, Jilin province.
The conference attracted over 800 leaders and guests from more than 400 organizations, including the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, the International Academy of Astronautics and Donghai Laboratory.
Through exhibitions and keynote speeches, attendees exchanged and showed the latest in research achievements in the fields of remote sensing and communications – promoting the high-quality development of the satellite and space information industry and the development of a space ecosystem.

Amid the rapid rise of China's communications and remote sensing industry, the conference – held in conjunction with the Changchun International Optoelectronic Expo – brought together experts to discuss industry trends, share innovative practices and explore the future of the field.
The exhibition featured 62 leading commercial aerospace enterprises, showcasing new products in the commercial rocket sector and significant achievements in commercial satellites.
The wide-ranging display aimed to foster new collaborative development models across the commercial aerospace supply chain.
During the keynote sessions, 60 speakers from institutions such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Donghai Laboratory addressed a variety of key topics.
These covered satellite mass production designs, remote sensing technology, satellite communications technology, data processing and applications and satellite constellation operations.
They also discussed the latest trends and innovative applications in the fields of remote sensing and communications.
