Speed, power unleashed at Dragon Boat invitational in Jilin

On June 10, the Second National Dragon Boat Invitational in Jilin took place in Changchun, Jilin province, attracting 26 teams from across the country, including from provinces of Zhejiang, Hebei, Anhui and Guangdong.
The event marked the largest and most competitive dragon boat race ever held in Jilin province.
It drew the widespread participation of over 500 athletes and 20 coaches. Awards were given not only for the top three places, but also for special categories – such as "Braving the Tides" and "Team Spirit", highlighting the camaraderie and determination of the participants.

As the race started, the dragon boats shot forward like arrows, creating a mesmerizing sight. The rowers, with synchronized strokes and sheer power, drove their boats forwards at breakneck speed, sending splashes of water flying.
The spectators were clearly captivated, with their cheers and shouts creating an electrifying atmosphere.
In a fierce competition, the Changchun-Hangzhou Team, Changchun University of Science and Technology, and Northeast Electric Power University emerged as the champions of their groups.
