In 2024, Naela crossed mountains and seas to finally reach China's Jilin province. As a child, her mom told her about a mysterious place called China in the far East and within it, a fertile and vibrant land known as Jilin. This sparked her deep interest in China, prompting her to read about the country, learn its language and understand its culture.

This year marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and France. At 21, Naela Thual has embarked on a colorful academic journey at Jilin Agricultural University. Inspired by her mother's tales, Naela developed a fascination for China from a young age. She diligently studied Chinese language and culture, driven by her dream to experience this enchanting country firsthand.
