The 19th China Economic Forum was held in Jilin city, Northeast China's Jilin province on May 26, the proceedings focusing on new industries, models and dynamics.
These aimed to foster discussions and ideas to deepen understanding of new quality productive forces and the overall aim was to propel high-quality development and to advance Chinese modernization.
Over 500 guests from political, business and academic circles attended the event.

Cao Lubao, director of the Jilin Provincial Publicity Department, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a key speech – emphasizing Jilin's commitment to maintaining national security in food, industry, energy, ecology and defense.
Highlighting the province's development momentum, Cao noted that Jilin was on a fast track to revitalization by harnessing new quality productive forces. He urged the media to play a greater role in guiding public expectations and strengthening confidence through effective management.
Cao also encouraged participants to explore and invest in Jilin, contributing to the province's development and modernization.
In addition to the main forum, three sub-forums were held, addressing topics such as Enhancing Advanced Manufacturing with New Quality Productive Forces, Driving Modern Agricultural Development with New Quality Productive Forces, and Shaping the Ice and Snow Economy with New Quality Productive Forces.
