Celebrating its 33rd anniversary, auto manufacturer FAW-Volkswagen – based in Changchun, capital of Jilin province – hosted its annual family day on May 21, launching exciting activities and special offers for users, partners and employees.

The first factory delivery ceremony also took place on the day. Nine groups of users who ordered through the OTD system were invited to see FAW-Volkswagen's smart manufacturing process.

Visitors toured its research and development labs and digital production workshops, witnessing cutting-edge technology that aim to ensure high-quality car manufacturing. The comprehensive tour is said to have left a lasting impression, showcasing the brand's commitment to excellence.

Unlike traditional dealerships, FAW-Volkswagen's factory deliveries offer an end-to-end experience. New car owners can inspect their vehicles, complete the necessary paperwork and even handle remote license plate processing – all at the factory. This is understood to mark a first for Changchun and is rare nationwide.

FAW-Volkswagen executives, including Director and General Manager Pan Zhanfu, presented keys and personalized gifts to the new car owners. The event is said to have highlighted FAW-Volkswagen's dedication to delivering high-quality products and services directly to customers

The event also featured the delivery of the new off-road edition of the Tavendor model, equipped with a unique adventure package.

Additionally, the new generation of the Magotan, showcased at the Beijing International Auto Show, was displayed alongside other classic models.

This year's 521 Family Day included special trade-in offers, zero down payment options and other promotional benefits across the Volkswagen, Audi and Jetta brands – reflecting FAW-Volkswagen's gratitude to its loyal customers.
