The launch ceremony of the E-lane³ project by FAW-Volkswagen was recently held in Changchun, Jilin province.

E-lane³ represents FAW-Volkswagen's latest achievements in intelligent warehousing logistics and digital innovation, marking a significant milestone in the digital transformation of the company's production management.

As the automotive industry's first supply chain logistics digitization product based on a "chain" model, FAW-Volkswagen's E-lane³ project integrates new-generation intensive automated storage technology and complex scheduling logic, both of which redefine the relationship between production planning and logistics management. This integration has substantially reduced resource demands and optimized supply chain cost structures.

This project is set to divide the entire vehicle order flow into "chain" units that are based on a 2-hour production capacity. It will generate part demands, connect with suppliers, and store products according to the "chain". This meticulous process ensures a perfect match between the vehicle assembly flow and part flow,

significantly optimizing storage by 80 percent within a contained space.
