Since its completion at the end of 2021, Zhibei village has quickly become a top tourist destination, attracting a total of 7.3 million visitors to date. It's received numerous honors, including being recognized as a National Exemplary Human Settlement Environment, as well as a Jilin Province Study Tourist Base – even collecting a prestigious Elite Science and Technology Award, along the way.

The village follows the design concept of "Enjoy Snow in Winter, Appreciate Flowers in Summer." Through the use of courtyards, street scenes, yellow mud walls, thatched roofs and other architectural techniques it creates an inspiring artistic countryside resort that combines the charms of Northeast China folk culture, gourmet dining, boutique accommodation, night tours with lighting effects, immersive performances and satisfying snow-related activities.
