Xijiang town, in Tonghua, has been awarded the titles of "National Ecological Town" and "Key National Rural Tourism Town". The locally produced rice, known as "Xijiang Tribute Rice", has been recognized as a Protected Chinese Geographical Indication Product.

The town has achieved the integrated development of agriculture and tourism, gaining popularity both within the province and nationwide. The town features a cultural experience area dedicated to stone mills, where visitors can admire the largest musical millstone in China, which has a diameter of 15 meters. They can also experience traditional stone mill farming culture. In the town’s Tribute Rice Cultural Park, a 3,100-meter network of elevated walkways intertwines over thousands of acres of green organic rice fields.
