The China Songhua Stone Museum is the only museum in China that is dedicated to Songhua stone culture. Situated in Jiangyuan district of Baishan city in Jilin province , renowned as the "hometown of Chinese Songhua stone" and "capital of Chinese Songhua inkstones," it stands along the essential tourism routes of Changbai Mountain. It has been featured in significant exhibitions like the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the National People's Congress, Shanghai World Expo, China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair, China-Northeast Asia Expo, National Cultural Exhibition of Four Treasures of the Study, and the Cross-Straits Cultural Creative and Traditional Art Exhibition. In recent years, Jiangyuan's Songhua inkstone works have been presented as national gifts to political dignitaries from various countries, signifying the international recognition of Songhua inkstone as national treasures.
