The Yanji Dinosaur Museum is the only dinosaur-themed museum in Jilin province, as well as an important institution for fossil collection, scientific research, and popular science education in the province.

Covering an exhibition area of 14,400 square meters, the museum comprises two major exhibition halls, "Dinosaur Planet" and "Longxing Yanji," along with a visitor service center and an interactive experience pavilion.

The museum houses nearly 500 fossil specimens, with over 290 specimens of vertebrates and invertebrates such as dinosaurs, crocodile-like creatures, and turtle-like animals discovered in the Longshan area of Yanji.

Of these, "Dinosaur Planet" showcases various types of dinosaurs discovered across the continents of the world and their distribution, the distribution of marine reptiles and the major species of pterosaurs.

The exhibition vividly demonstrates various aspects of dinosaurs, such as their sounds, vision, intelligence, predation characteristics, reproduction, and migration.

The "Longxing Yanji" exhibition hall primarily features an introduction to the stratigraphy of the Yanji Longshan fossil excavation site, the research achievements of the discovered dinosaur fossils, and the lifestyles of the dinosaurs and other ancient creatures that inhabited Yanji during that era.
