Yanbian Museum

Yanbian Museum, established in 1960, is located in Yanji city, the capital of Yanbian Korean autonomous prefecture. It is a comprehensive museum that showcases local history and the ethnic characteristics of the Korean people. In 2009, it was recognized as a second-level national museum. The museum covers an area of 14,570 square meters and houses nearly 15,000 cultural relics, including over 500 national treasures. The collections consist of ancient artifacts, modern artifacts, and cultural relics related to Korean ethnic group's folk customs.

Yanbian Museum is one of the "Top 100 Key Museums" in China, a national base for ethnic unity and progress education, a base for international cultural exchange for Chinese overseas, a provincial patriotic education base, a provincial base for Party history education, and a provincial social science popularization base. In 2015, it was awarded the national 4A-level tourist attraction status.
