A dialogue and exchange event entitled Youth Drive Empowering Global Promotion for World-class Ski Resorts took place at Jilin University – located in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province – on Dec 20.

Its aim was to foster friendly exchanges between Chinese and international youth through expert lectures, ice and snow cultural experiences and interactive discussions.

From Dec 16-20, Gen Z representatives from eight countries including the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, and Poland participated in the themed event called Discovering Changbai Mountains: Embracing Jilin's Winter Wonderland with Global Gen Z.

Generation Z, or Gen Z, is defined by researchers and popular media as those born in the mid-to-late 1990s through to those born in the early 2010s.

The participants had immersive experiences such as winter drifting in Changbai Mountains, skiing at Beidhu Ski Resort, exploring the folk culture of a Korean ethnic village, tasting ethnic cuisine and enjoying great ice entertainment activities in Changchun Ice and Snow New World.
