Four ski resorts in Northeast China's Jilin province were awarded the title of "National Level Ski Tourism Resort" at the 2023 China (Arxan) Tourism Conference, making Jilin the leading province in the country in this category.

They are the Lake Songhua Resort, Changbai Mountain Wanda International Resort, Beidahu Ski Resort, and Wanfeng Tonghua Ski Resort.

In just nine years, the Lake Songhua Resort has received over 6 million visitors. For six consecutive years, it has been awarded the "Best Ski Resort in China" title at the World Ski Awards.

The Changbai Mountain Wanda International Resort is located at the western foot of the Changbai Mountains in Baishan city, covering an area of 7 square kilometers. With an extended snow season from mid-November to early April, the resort has meticulously crafted over 30 diverse ski trails with a total length of 33 kilometers.

The Beidahu Ski Resort is a national 4A-level scenic spot. In the 2023-2024 ski season, it will open 64 ski trails with a total length of 72 kilometers, covering an area of 239 hectares. It also offers nearly 500,000 square meters of ski areas for beginners to meet the needs of skiers of all levels.

The Wanfeng Tonghua Ski Resort – China's first alpine ski resort – is located in Tonghua city. It boasts features such as a long snow season, high-quality snow, low wind speed, and a relatively mild climate.
