The Northeast Asia Youth Entrepreneurs Development Cooperation Forum was held in Changchun, the capital of Northeast China's Jilin province, on Aug 24.

Around 200 representatives from collaboration organizations and young entrepreneurs from China, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Russia, and other countries participated.

Northeast Asia is one of the most dynamic regions for global development. Located at the geographical center of this region, Jilin serves as an important gateway for China's northward opening under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).

It has developed advantages in industries such as automobiles, deep processing of agricultural products, ecotourism, pharmaceuticals and health, petrochemicals, equipment manufacturing, and electronic information.

During the forum, the Northeast Asia Economic Cooperation Changchun Declaration for Young Entrepreneurs was released. This calls for young entrepreneurs in the region to actively explore innovation, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation, enhance understanding and trust, and contribute wisdom and strength through practical actions to promote the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and facilitate the healthy development of both the regional and global economy.

During the forum, various activities such as those promoting economic and trade cooperation projects and dialogue among young entrepreneurs will be held.

Young entrepreneurs from Northeast Asia have also engaged in cooperative negotiations in fields such as modern equipment and new energy, modern services, modern agriculture, and the digital economy.

In the end, 29 intentions to cooperate were signed, with a total intended investment of 1.41 billion yuan ($194 million).
