The 14th China-Northeast Asia Expo (CNEA Expo) kicked off in Changchun, the capital of North China's Jilin province, on Aug 23.

Running under the banner of "joint development of Northeast Asia in cooperation for the future", this expo aims to create a new platform for open cooperation in Northeast Asia. It also aims to inject new momentum into the development of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the revitalization of Northeast China.

This year's expo will showcase a wide range of cutting-edge technological innovations from Jilin province. These cover such fields as optoelectronic information, intelligent manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, modern agriculture, new materials, and new energy.

Highlights of the event will include the debut of new models from FAW Group's Hongqi brand and a stunning display of Chang Guang Satellite's Jilin-1 sub-meter high-performance optical remote sensing satellite model.
