Jilin province hosts cooperation forum with developing countries

The Jilin Province Development and Cooperation Forum with Developing Countries was held in Changchun, capital city of Northeast China's Jilin province, on June 13, attended by officials from 30 trade, investment, and commerce departments from nine countries, including Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, Suriname, and Uzbekistan.

The forum aimed to promote mutually beneficial cooperation between Jilin province and developing countries in industry, trade, and investment. Officials discussed trade and investment opportunities and held in-depth exchanges on policies, regulations, and investment environments.

Jilin province has always viewed development cooperation as an essential strategy to promote economic and social development and has actively participated in economic and trade cooperation with developing countries. The province has established a comprehensive economic and trade partnership with many developing countries in areas like investment, resource development, and international cooperation.

Officials also discussed ways to deepen cooperation and promote regional development at the forum. They emphasized the need for more exchanges and cooperation in agriculture, tourism, and infrastructure construction.

The Jilin Province Development and Cooperation Forum with Developing Countries provided a platform for officials of the participating countries to communicate with each other, deepen mutual understanding, and explore opportunities for cooperation.

This forum is expected to promote economic and trade cooperation between Jilin province and developing countries and contribute to the region's economic development.

In addition, the provincial department of commerce arranged for foreign officials to collectively visit and inspect enterprises in Jilin province, such as FAW Group.
