Jilin province in Northeast China will continue to grow and achieve its revitalization through the development goals it has set out for 2023, according to its provincial government work report.

In the current year, the regional GDP of Jilin province is expected to grow by around 6 percent. Grain output is forecast to be stable at more than 40 billion kilograms. Fixed-asset investment is expected to grow by 7 percent and total retail sales of social consumer goods is projected to be up by about 7 percent.

The province's general public budget revenue is forecast to grow in pace with the economy. The growth rate of residents' per capita disposable income, meanwhile, is expected to keep in line with economic growth.

In 2023, efforts will be made by Jilin province in eight areas of endeavor – promoting consumption and expanding investment, developing a modern industrial system, promoting rural vitalization, accelerating innovation-driven development, developing an ecologically strong province, deepening reforms and opening-up, preventing and defusing major economic and financial risks, as well as ensuring and improving people's livelihoods.
